Don't you hate?

Squeeze bottles that won't dispense any product until you squeeze them so hard that you get more than you need? I have a bottle of Soft Scrub that is like that. It makes me mad because I use too much of it on the counter, it bubbles up more and it is harder to rinse. It takes much longer. I have noticed the same trend in ketchup and mustard bottles lately. I think it is a plot to get us to use more product so we have to buy it again sooner. What do you think?

Sound like a conspiracy to me!

And how about those spray bottles with straws that don't even reach the bottom of the bottle?

I don't like the salad dressing bottles with the wide mouth. It comes out in big glops and I like to drizzle my dressing.

That happened to me the other day with my moisturiser - came pouring out and I couldn't stop it.

DOH!

Yes to all of that!!! 'Specially the soft scrub, it gets all gloppy and thick at the neck and even if I shake the bottle up it still does that "plop" thing.

I don't like the runny junk at the top of the ketchup bottle. I bought an upside down model, but it still does it.

I guess I haven't had this problem too often, but I can definitely relate to the Ketchup bottle thing. The new upside down models get rid of the watery problem, but as soon as you pop open the top you better have something under it because it gushes out...usually some gets on the inside of the top making it very messy.

Yeah....I can relate to all of this. And why do they put relish in a sweeze bottle? It never works well.

I was thinking of you while beating barbecue sauce out of a bottle tonight. I will always think of you every time I am beating a plastic bottle. By the way, they do break. Because of a recent "incident". We now spoon our ketchup out of a mason jar until we use it up. Nice huh?

:o) it's funny the topics that inspire lots of comment. i guess Rachel is the lucky one who has no squeeze bottle issues. Must have had a happy childhood that got her off the the right squeeze bottle start...

I'll be laughing the next time Rachel has issues with a squeeze bottle! I'm waiting for crunchy peanut butter to come out in a squeeze bottle. That would be cool...
