What's in my purse?
Sorry, I don't have a picture to go with this post.
Outer pockets:
- cell phone
- pager
- work name badge
- checkbook
- old receipts that are no longer pertinent to anything current
- recent receipts awaiting entry into my computer Money program
- credit and debit cards
- various and sundry store discount cards
- frequent flyer cards
- professional membership cards
- insurance cards.
- pen
- a new bottle of Phoebe's medicine that I have forgotten to give her for two weeks now
- spearmint mini Altoids
- 4 lip glosses and a chapstick
- small bottle that says "Advil" but contains Extra Strength Tylenol and Motrin IB
- a one day only Kohl's coupon that is outdated (I did get to use it.)
- my auto insurance card that is supposed to be in the glove box of my car.

Truly, do we want a picture? I think the picture in our minds is good, and your list is very thorough. If I ever end up on a deserted island, I want to be with you! (=
What, no gum?
Most of my receipts are not pertinent to anything either and I don't want to recall how much I spent on groceries.
Looks like a good list to me. I also usually have the one day sales cards in there, but I rarely get to use them.
"recent receipts awaiting entry into my computer Money program"--until you forget what they were for and the store abbreviations for the items purchased don't make sense, right?
That is funny, you are so organized in your purse but your room? Ha!!
Receipts? I just take them out of my pockets and hand them to carl who knows what he does with them, I got him a shredder... :)
I had nearly every receipt for my entire marriage (10+ years) filed in order and recorded. I threw them all out and never save receipts anymore.
4 lip glosses? My mom calls chapstick "lip chap".
